Privacy
We only collect what we strictly need to reply to you and manage your bookings. Nothing more, no reselling.
Who handles your data
Lanalou SAS, which runs the Chez Colette restaurant, 2 rue du petit pont, 86300 Chauvigny, France. It is the data controller, and the only one who sees what you send us.
What we collect
- You write to us or book
- Your name, a way to reach you (phone or email) and your message.
- You sign up for the newsletter
- Your email address, only.
Why, and on what grounds
To handle your request, reply to you, manage your booking, and send you the newsletter if you signed up. Your data is never sold or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Site traffic
We count page views, to learn what interests you. Recorded: the page, the city, the type of device, the site you came from and the time spent. Your IP address is never stored, no advertising cookie is set, and these figures are never combined with anything else.
We run this measurement ourselves, for ourselves alone, and it only ever produces anonymous statistics: that is what exempts it from your consent (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). You may still ask to be left out.
Hosting & anti-spam
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides anti-spam protection for the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile). No advertising cookies are used.
Cloudflare is a US company, so your data may be processed outside the European Union. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by Cloudflare's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can at any time request access to your data, its correction or erasure, the restriction of its processing, object to its use, or ask for a portable copy. If you are signed up to the newsletter, you can withdraw your consent whenever you like: every email carries an unsubscribe link.
